**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting functions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts, as well as proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero and Zoho. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of our team.
**Duties:**
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
- Perform double entry bookkeeping to ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
- Analyze financial data and prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting to ensure the company's financial goals are met.
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks and Xero to manage financial data and prepare reports.
- Provide financial support to other departments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changing financial regulations and best practices.
**Experience:**
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or accountant with a strong understanding of financial concepts.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Experience with double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in financial report writing and budgeting.
- Knowledge of financial software such as Zoho, QuickBooks and Xero.
