Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Team Leader to join our Cafe. The Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store runs smoothly.
Duties
- Responsible for both front of house and back of house activities, must be willing to learn both the Barista position and Cook position within cafe
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members
- Manage cash registers, handle transactions, and ensure cash register accuracy
- Supervise shift operations and delegate tasks effectively
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Assist in store management duties including inventory management and merchandising
- Utilize POS systems efficiently for sales transactions
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to drive team performance
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in an assistant manager or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers
- Ability to manage shifts effectively and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience in store management (1 year) is "required"
