Qualifications:
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements:
Education:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.
OR
Experience:
You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in federal service. Experience must have equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position.

Responsibilities:
Plans website and social media strategies and content requirements to address the Bureau of Prison’s (BOP) focus areas, priorities and missions.
Manages the overall planning and execution of the Bureau’s social media program covering Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media platforms as they arise, as well as advertising on platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn and Google.
Responsible for the digital strategy and campaign planning, design and execution in conjunction with staff from the Information, Policy and Public Affairs (IPPA), and other staff to inform and educate general and specialized audiences, both external and internal, about BOP operations and activities.
Responsible for conducting periodic analysis of the digital market.
Responsible for the design and organic posting of the Bureau’s recruitment digital content.
Digitally edits video and generates on-screen text and graphics, as required, that engage the audience or that help enhance audience understanding of the intended message.
