In addition to protecting company personnel and assets, Security Guards serve as our directors of first impressions by checking customers into the store and orientating them to our flow and process. They also act as first responders in the event of customer illness or injury and monitor the premises to ensure a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and the surrounding community and work with the Team in creating an exceptional customer experience.
As Justice Cannabis' Security Guard, you will perform a variety of tasks including:
- Monitoring and controlling access at building
- Monitoring alarm systems, video cameras, and detection
- Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating issues or disturbances
- Acting lawfully ensuing force for the direct defense of life or
- Writing incident reports relating to criminal, medical, or nuisance
- Ensuring all incidents are recorded in the safety and security log
- Investigating and reporting all suspicious
- Patrolling buildings and conducting perimeter walks of assigned dispensaries and cultivation facilities; and,
- Performing other duties as assigned.
To successfully fill this role, you’ll need:
- Two or more years of experience working in a security or first responder role
- Have the ability to monitor multiple screens and situations simultaneously, and be certified in CPR, First Aid and use of AED.
- Possess state security and guard credentials and meet all requirements for carrying a loaded firearm in full compliance with state regulations.
- Pass required State Cannabis Agent affiliation.
- Prior law enforcement, or military experience is preferred.
