Job Description:
As the Resource Development Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating resource development, program and finance departments on all grant funded activities, providing financial and outcome tracking support to resource development, building clear communications with our investors, maintaining relationships with our board of directors, overseeing loan licensing compliance and working directly with the Chief Operating Officer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Grants Management (50%) Grant Life Cycle Management Lead fulfilling grant reporting requirements; ensure reports get submitted accurately and on time
- Maintain strong, primary relationship with all funding sources, including federal funders
- Lead in the research and identification of grant funding opportunities
- Lead in the writing and submitting grant funding proposals
- Department Administration Oversee grants reporting spreadsheet and timely submission of all reports and grant applications
- Oversee development department staff members
- Monitor staff allocation to grants quarterly
- Track quarterly actual to budget Grant goals and take responsibility for achieving budget goals
- Coordinate grants managements best practices between development and program staff Understand and communicate all grant-activities, outputs and outcomes to program staff * Assist with program implementation and delivery, as requested
- Track program activities and goals (outputs and outcomes)
- Work with a team to make programmatic changes to achieve program goals
- Coordinate grants managements best practices between grants management and finance staff
- Understand and communicate all grant budgets and payment schedules to finance staff
- Prepare grant application budgets and financial reports
- Oversee grant reimbursement and other financial requests originating outside of the Finance Department
- Works closely with the Director of Finance track and record grant awards and grant reimbursements and record grant and donation revenue and expenses
- Maintain relationships with funders, as requested
- Investor Relations (15%) Understand all investments, including investor relations and repayment terms
- Build an investor reporting schedule to communicate financial and program successes
- Maintain investor relations and participate in capital renewals
- Board Development (10%) Coordinate all Board Meetings including scheduling and preparation * Coordinate Board execution of Resolutions in between Board Meetings as necessary
- Review all reports for Board and Committee meetings
- Attend all Board Meeting/Committee meetings and coordinate detailed minutes
- Compliance and Consumer Loan Licensing (15%) Manage all state and federal registrations
- Oversee required filings to obtain and keep consumer loan licenses current
- Review examination results and implement updated compliance procedures to ensure successful licensing exams with Compliance Manager. Lead exam responses.
- Update Consumer Loan Summary spreadsheet as necessary
- Work with outside counsel to conduct consumer licensing research in new states.
