Justworks is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter who is ready to roll up their sleeves to create our comprehensive events roadmap and strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Community Growth, the Events Strategist will develop, execute, and measure impact for all owned and sponsored events at Justworks. They will partner with stakeholders across several departments including, Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and People. You will manage current and long-term portfolio strategies that align our events to business initiatives, managing individual program strategies and building the executive presentations and reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as an ambassador for Justworks, while building an events strategy that supports the company’s overall growth.

What You Will Work On
Event Strategy Responsibilities
- Develop an annual events roadmap that aligns event priorities to an integrated customer journey throughout the year
- Work cross functionally with key stakeholders to implement event strategies to effectively penetrate growth markets and customer segments
- Ensure all efforts tie back to business initiatives and goals
- Conceptualize, develop, design and support the successful implementation of engagement, content and marketing strategies for digital, in-person and hybrid events
- Establish and manage effective processes, meetings and milestones and regularly communicate deadlines and interdependencies
- Facilitate event content alignment across business groups including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, and People
- Collaborate and work with event agency counterparts to maximize value and output
- Establish and manage new and existing community partnership opportunities
Measurement & Metrics Responsibilities
- Create measurement strategies and programs based on the results and outcomes identified for a specific event, family of events, or portfolio of events
- Identify event metrics (benchmarks and targets) and key performance indicators, based on event industry and measurement best practices
- Develop and implement survey questionnaires and other event measurement tactics
- Create specifications for and manage development of event scorecards and dashboards, in partnership with the Business Operations team
- Conduct analysis to understand the key takeaways, results and other critical insights, prepare final reports communicating the impact of events on key areas of the business
- Conduct research to explore and apply event industry trends, innovations and challenges to event strategy recommendations

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in event planning and production for large scale events (corporate, event startup, or agency background preferred)
- Event marketing and activation experience a must
- Demonstrated expertise in both sides of an event P&L
- Demonstrated ability to work well with different personalities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software
- Exceptional writing and organizational skills
- Successful track record in attaining and exceeding expectation
- Independent, self-reliance problem solver in a cross-functional environment
- Excellent and structured verbal and written communicator with effective presentation skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, public relations, or business management
