ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Senior Architect is responsible for creating the overall roadmap for the ServiceNow Platform, while shaping demand for the enterprise platform consumption. As the NOW platform owner, you will be focused on ensuring the ServiceNow platform aligns with the business strategy, roadmap and platform governance policies. In this position you will be an empowered platform owner and utilize your process engineering and consultative skills while thinking and acting strategically across all modules of the NOW platform. Managing a platform delivery team, you will work with a tight-knit team to build modules that define JUUL’s ServiceNow user experience.
This role will focus on engaging our stakeholders, review and implement emerging technologies while designing solutions that enforce security controls and progress us in our journey to unify our business processes and drive improvements to help speed our digital transformation across business units.
- Manage development and operational teams responsible for identifying solutions which maximize the value of the ServiceNow Platform
- Build strong relationships throughout the organization including with platform stakeholders, service owners, project managers, and leadership
- Co-create the ServiceNow Platform Roadmap with Digital Tech leaders and business partners
- Define a plan to manage and prioritize development features by ranking them against strategic goals and initiatives
- Responsible for the successful delivery of ServiceNow releases and ensuring that it meets the requirements and priorities of associated stakeholders
- Accountable for ensuring that development activities meet the defined acceptance criteria prior to requesting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and approval
- Constant focus on continual service improvements that focus on building value and delivering efficiencies leveraging the ServiceNow Platform.
- Coach and lead development team to strive for complete, consistent, high-quality, and on-time delivery.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for NOW platform best practices and standards related to ServiceNow.
- Manage and maintain 3rd party partnerships and engagements for platform support and projects.
- Overseeing the development of product backlog and actionable user stories for ServiceNow
- Reviewing solution designs, peer code reviews, architecture collaboration, and working closely with operational support team through deployment
- Consult for planning, upgrading, testing, documenting, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform, ServiceNow modules and associated 3rd party integrations in collaboration with operational support team.
- Gather and define platform requirements that meet the needs of JUUL business partners while introducing new and improved concepts that drive the future of digital working.
- Presides over the technical governance board and is involved in all governance
- Ownership and oversight of the ServiceNow instances, the core platform team, and any escalations
- Presides over design configuration decisions to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the platform design strategy
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Equivalent of 10 years of product management or similar experience working on Cloud - SaaS solutions
- Bachelor’s degree required (technical undergraduate degree preferred, or demonstrate technical capabilities with job experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of managing a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with agile/scrum methodologies
- Experience with ITIL foundations and best practices
- Experience working across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITOM, Asset Management, HR and ITSM modules
- Experience writing executive summaries and other collateral to communicate the vision, strategy, and feature set for the product line
- Experience monitoring and guiding product development teams throughout the execution phases for new and existing releases as the customer advocate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for and experience with collaborative technologies, either in the consumer or enterprise space
- Demonstrated experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into actionable product roadmap
- Ability to manage products and feature trade-offs with business partner and management teams
- Self-starter, leader, high energy level (set the direction for multiple development teams)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, in executive and public speaking environments
- Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate capability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize activities for optimal results
