Job Summary:
The QA Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the design, development, and execution quality strategy for our Federal and Defense programs.
As our QA Delivery Lead, you will be a champion of quality standards, having a high sense of ownership, working with Project Managers and Business Analysts to make tough prioritization decisions, and leading others to do all this better than yourself. You will oversee and be hands-on all aspects of implementing and improving quality across all projects, with the explicit aim of preventing defects instead of simply detecting them. Your responsibilities will also include process, mentoring, recruiting, and operations.
This position reports directly to the VP, Product and Technical Delivery, participates with corporate QA Director, and guides a team of engineers and analysts working on different client projects. Our ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for quality, attentive to details and focused on value delivery.

Location: Atlanta, Fort Wayne, or Remote
Responsibilities:
- Follow corporate QA best practices, working with corporate QA leadership/team
- Set and develop best practices for professional services project delivery
- Work with Project Management to identify and develop key deliverables, schedules, test plans, and other artifacts
- Support the sales process by assisting with proposals and RFP responses
- Develop metrics for measuring quality; set goals, monitor and report on metrics
- Keep up to speed with technical landscape and recommending/implementing new technologies where applicable.
- Influence QA culture in your organization, acting as a go-to expert and problem solver.
- Identify opportunities for technology to increase revenue, reduce cost, and delight Juvare customers.
- Comprehend and adhere to the OWASP Top 10 security best practices.
- Compliance with Juvare policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 6 years’ experience in web or mobile testing, test management.
- Proven record of leading large initiatives.
- Proven leadership - you have the drive and ability to get things done in an innovative and fast paced environment.
Skills/ Knowledge Requirements:
- Demonstrated technical leadership capability with the ability to identify trade-offs and manage risk.
- Experience developing a culture of self-sufficiency in a team.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at the peer, and senior leadership levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience collecting and using data to inform decisions, build consensus, and align teams to a common purpose.
- Proven delivery experience working under an Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Strong technical prowess. While regular testing doesn't have to be part of the job, ability to contribute to test design discussions and make sound technical decisions is critical.
