Overview:
The Operations/FAM Analyst will be required to analyze, develop, and evaluate detailed plans, goals, and objectives for near, mid, and long-range implementation of major command program(s). Provides expertise to AMC/A3C in order to research, inform, and compose AMC/MAF perspectives for the development of AF future C2 concepts and constructs, to include Joint All-Domain C2, Distributed C2 Operations, Direct Support, and Air Mobility Division (AMD) Reach Back.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Advise and provide Functional Managers with recommendations on the feasibility of COAs to enable improved planning and execution of operations
- Evaluate recommended modifications to existing plans in response to actual operations or changing environments
- Analyze problems discovered in prior studies or actual operations and advise Functional Managers on the feasibility of different approaches which provide a basis for better planning and execution of operations
- Assist the organization by evaluating modifications to existing plans in response to changing environments
- Assist with development, revision, and review of existing and new policy
- Maintain appropriate level of account access to systems where UTC data is maintained and managed
- Monitor readiness reporting and AFFORGEN force posturing, ensuring that the AMC AFFOR staff and the 618 AOC can integrate and interoperate with USAF, Joint, and COCOM forces
- Incorporate all required regulations, such as, strategic C2 instructions, guidance, and operational concepts, as well as doctrines developed/published by other MAJCOMs, USAF, COCOMs, JCS, DoD, and other Governmental agencies
- Provide inputs, suggest edits, and/or recommendations as defined within respective staffing packages
- Ensure alignment/compliance with related lateral and higher echelon instructions, guidance, and policy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
- Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret SCI security clearance
- Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in C2 including leadership roles in systems analysis and design, conversion and implementation support, project management, data/records management, resources management, or database planning and design
- Additional experience and knowledge of C2 and Knowledge Management systems (e.g., GDSS, ACFP, GATES)
- Additional experience in budget management and administration as well as preparing/transmitting periodic reports using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Highly Desired:
- Current Top Secret Clearance
Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship
Must be able to pass a background screening
