What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Pipe Labor position at Jymco Construction Company?
Jymco Construction Company looking for a pipe labor willing to work hard and learn to move up in different positions within the company. We do work installing water, sewer and RCP pipe underground.
Job description:
- Assist pipe layer getting pipe on grade at times and work the hill hooking up pipe ready for installation.
- work with Foreman to understand daily task at hand.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
- Locate underground services, such as pipes and wires, prior to beginning work.
- Have some experience operating skid steer and wheel loader.
- Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment
- responsible for greasing equipment and notify supervisor of any issues with machine
- Unload tools when arriving to job, ( shovels, pump set up, generator etc..)
- Willing to work hard and get muddy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
