K&H Truckweld is seeking a DRAFTSMAN/SCHEDULER
$40K – $60K annually (DOE)
Responsibilities and Duties:
The successful candidate will have the ability to pivot between drafting duties and assisting with production scheduling tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment. Skilled and detail-oriented a must - working closely with our General Manager and Production Managers.
Requirements:
Must have SOLIDWORKS experience - 2 years (on-the-job or school).
Read, understand and create process flow diagrams and other 2D drawings.
Interpret drawings, sketches, and verbal descriptions to produce required 3-D models to meet customer and product specifications with minimal supervision.
Self-check and correct all work prior to submitting to direct supervisor for approval.
Interpret engineering mark-ups and accurately make drawing corrections.
Communicate/collaborate with Production Managers and Team to create/revise production schedules as necessary.
Position requires a team player with initiative, excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Must be extremely organized and skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Solid prior work experience in a similar role for 2 years or recent college/technical school graduate in the field of Drafting or Design with related internship experience.
Shop/Production floor experience a plus.
