VIDEOGRAPHER/DIGITAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION: K&J Tree Service is one of Connecticut’s largest privately owned tree service companies with a highly trained staff of arborists and tree technicians serving New Haven and Fairfield counties.K&J Tree Service is looking for a full-time videographer/digital content creator to generate dynamic video content for marketing purposes. The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of videography, as well as editing and producing photos and videos for social media. The digital media content creator produces images, videos, and sales tools that inform and attract potential clients featuring K&J’s mission and vision.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• The employee will be paid based upon experience and skill set.
• The employee is eligible to enter our company retirement program with a 3% company match.
• The employee is eligible to enter our company medical insurance program with 50% coverage paid by K&J Tree Service (dental and vision are also available).

WORK SCHEDULE:

• The employee will work Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. The employee may be asked to work weekends or off-hours if an event needs to be videoed or photographed. Willingness and ability to travel throughout New Haven and Fairfield Counties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Photograph/Video the assigned subjects or environment.
• Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc.).
• Arrange objects, scenes, lighting, and background in adherence with specifications.
• Social Media Marketing - collaborate with media team to implement creative concepts for social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and kjtreeservice.com.
• Digital marketing – target audiences and measure campaign performance against goals.
• SEO – Google Analytics
• Design and produce training programs and videos, including PowerPoint Presentations.
• Develop an understanding of K&J Tree Services and our mission to generate tailored ideas.
• Uphold design and brand standards.
• Duties may need to be performed under adverse conditions including but not limited to: working outdoors and being exposed to extreme cold, extreme heat, and inclement weather.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• Proven professional shooting and editing experience.
• Competency in applying photographic and videography best practices and techniques.
• Demonstrate a high level of critical thinking and creative problem-solving techniques.
• Deadline-oriented.
• Detail oriented and ability to take direction and adapt.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize both assigned and self-directed projects.
• Spanish language (preferred)

EQUIPMENT:

• K&J Tree Service will provide the necessary equipment to carry out all tasks related to photography, videography, production, design, and editing. Equipment includes, but is not limited to:
• Camera & lens.
• Lighting.
• Microphones.
• Office space/studio specifically designed for interviewing.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
