Job Description:
An office manager is integral to the daily operations of K. Kelso Law. You're the glue that holds this place together. You'll work directly with clients, and Kate, the lead attorney.
The ideal candidate must have the following qualities to succeed as an office manager:
- Organizational skills
- Adaptable
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A thorough and meticulous nature
- Proper understanding and management of CRM systems (we use MyCase)
- Time-management skills and the ability to properly execute tasks according to priority
- Adaptability and willingness to learn on-the-go
- Proficiency in Mac and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to take initiative, see the gaps, and act upon them without micromanagement
- Communicate status, needs, and be coachable (We always will take the time to teach if an applicant wants to learn)
- Be an honest and caring person who actually gives an eff about the well-being of our community and have the energy to keep fighting for equality and fairness (it’s tough I hear that)
The day-to-day responsibilities and tasks of an office manager at K. Kelso Law include the following:
- Answering incoming phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Client management and services
- Ensuring office supplies are always available and keeping inventory
- Managing clients' accounts (following up and tracking client communications)
- Thorough knowledge of each client's case stage
- Managing clients' billing information
- Assist staff with administrative tasks
- Manage and allocate outgoing and incoming mail
- Client information intake aka onboarding
Spanish-speaking or bilingual applicants will be highly-regarded for this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
