K&L Gates is seeking a midlevel associate to join the Asset Management and Investment Funds practice group. This position can be located in any of our U.S. offices. The ideal candidate will have between three and five years of experience in the Investment Management practice group of a top-tier law firm or in-house experience at a global institutional asset manager. K&L Gates has a long history of helping registered funds, private funds, and institutional asset managers address their most challenging transactional and regulatory issues. We are seeking candidates that have experience in one or more of these areas, and a desire to work with a team of experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility on a variety of matters. The candidate will become part of an exciting global Asset Management and Investment Funds practice, working with a diverse range of premier global clients.

Candidates should have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
