Job Summary
The Adjustment / Will Call Specialist works under the direction of the Adjustments/Will-Call Supervisor; inspects all tires for warranty consideration, issues credits and schedules vendor pickups, pulls, stages, and loads customer will calls in a timely manner.
Job duties and responsibilities
- Must thoroughly inspect tires with detail and accuracy and complete claim forms.
- Issue credits accurately and in a timely manner. (Within 7 days upon receiving the adjustment tire.)
- Prepare bill of ladings.
- Label all adjustment tires with claim form number to ensure duplicate paperwork is available for each tire that is sent back to the vendor.
- Allocate damage stock tires immediately to prevent an oversell or shortage.
- Must keep up to date on the changing adjustment policies each vendor has.
- Must be licensed and able to use forklift / clamp truck / picker.
- Must be able to communicate in a positive, courteous manner with all customers / employees.
- Make the customer the #1 person in our business.
- Must be able to lift and move passenger and truck tires ranging in weight from 15-200 lbs.
- Must be able to kick and load tires on a consistent basis as needed.
- Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.

- Talk to vendors on a daily basis to verify correct information in regards to authorization codes. Level II
- Schedule carriers to pick up and deliver adjustment tires to numerous vendors in a timely manner. Level III
- Identify training needs within the department and communicate to Director of Operations. Level III

- Ability to learn tire knowledge.
- Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
- Ability to use AS400 efficiently.
- Ability to use Web Link & Intranet.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize your own work-load.
- Ability to communicate with employees. (Being able to explain how a credit amount was determined, why a tire is adjustable or not and able to help co-workers at other locations determining whether a tire may be adjustable.)
- Present a clean, neat, professional appearance/image/environment.
Adjustments Specialist I Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Schedule- Monday through Friday 8AM- 5PM
Salary: $15.00-16.50/ hour
