Braider

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Braider to join our team at K&R Styling As a Braider, you will be responsible for providing braiding services to our clients and ensuring their satisfaction with their hair styling. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hair care and styling to showcase their skills and contribute to our salon's success.

Responsibilities:

- Perform various braiding techniques such as cornrows, box braids, twists, and other intricate styles

- Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations based on their hair type and preferences

- Cleanse, condition, and prepare clients' hair before braiding

- Use appropriate tools and products to achieve desired results while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair

- Ensure a clean and organized work area at all times

- Keep up-to-date with current trends and techniques in braiding through continued education and training

- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Experience:

- Proven experience as a Braider or similar role

- Proficient in various braiding techniques and styles

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs

- Familiarity with salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client information is a plus

- Knowledge of other salon services such as nail care, barbering, eyelash extensions, etc. is beneficial

- Experience in store management or mentoring other stylists is an advantage
