What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle dba position at K-Tek Resourcing LLC?
Job Description
- Candidate must have 9-10 years of experience in Oracle and 5-6 years’ experience in PostgreSQL, Willing to work in 24x7 environment.
- Oracle 19c database administration, and production support, primarily in a Linux environment
- Must have AWS cloud experience in handling EC2, RDS, CloudWatch and S3 buckets.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans.(standby databases)
- Responsible for upgrades, patching ,installations, diagnosing system problems.
- Good with RMAN backup and recovery DB performance tuning, shell/perl scripting, OEM 13c
- Able to understand the cloud Architecture and troubleshoot the environment whenever is required.
- Must have experience in migration, RMAN restore in AWS Environment
- Creating and managing PostgreSQL in AWS Cloud ( RDS and EC2 )
- Should handle PostgreSQL performance issues.
- Able to configure PostgreSQL backup, restore, and manage it in S3 bucket.
- Able to troubleshoot database connection issues.
- Configuring PostgreSQL monitoring in AWS cloud.
- Good communication skill is required.
