Delivery Driver/Warehouse

K2 Electric is hiring immediately for a Shop Driver/Warehouse Associate.

We are a growing, family owned and operated commercial electrical company seeking a Shop Driver/Warehouse Associate accurately and safely deliver tools, equipment and materials to job sites As well as assist in maintaining the electrical warehouse's cleanliness and organization. This position will have the opportunity to participate in some entry level electrical safety responsibilities with the possibility for further safety involvement.

Job Description:

• Accurately deliver tools, equipment, and materials to job sites by driving a truck pulling a 20' trailer.
• Verify order and destination/timeline with shop foreman and field personnel at time of delivery.
• Secure load for transport and perform vehicle and trailer pre-transport inspection.
• Accurately, safely, and timely delivery, unloading, and verification of inventory with personnel on project, complete with signature.
• Inventory of gang boxes, in-coming and out-going for tool tracking purposes.
• Maintain trailers, trucks, and Gators for cleanliness.
• Servicing all equipment coming into yard, i.e., checking fluids, lubricating as needed, etc.
• Report any discrepancies to foreman and field support lead/superintendent.
• Tracking of tools and equipment.
• Verify all shipping and receiving quantities upon delivery via delivery log and invoice log.
• Scheduling deliveries accurately for geographic locations.
• Assist safety department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must be proficient in the English language - verbal and written.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for last 3 years.
• Must be mechanically inclined.
• Ability to navigate city and state routes.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
• Experience pulling up to 20’ trailers with heavy loads.
• Knowledge of forklift operation.
• Some safety experience preferred.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach over head – all for extended periods of time
• Must be willing to work both indoors and out at all times of the year
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 51 pounds unassisted
