About the Role
KACE is currently seeking an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement the company’s talent acquisition strategy that aligns with business growth strategies as well as design and manage programs that enhance the candidate experience. The ideal leader will lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced, high-growth, competitive professional services, and technology company. In addition, the Director will drive innovation and process improvements while ensuring that KACE remains compliant and utilizes recruitment best practices. This role reports to the Vice President, Head of Human Resources and interacts directly with senior management across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for leading a team and creating clear goals and metrics; establish, communicate, and measure team performance expectations; identify and address performance gaps
- Provide oversight of initiatives and programs such as employer branding, social recruiting, university relations and internships, recruiting events
- Provide consulting and guidance to Talent Acquisition team and senior management
- Leverage analytics to evaluate and manage Talent Acquisition function; measure and regularly report results, and make data-driven decisions
- Influence key stakeholders and build collaborative relationships at all levels; manage external partnerships with job board vendors, academic institutions, and professional associations
- Partner with communications business partners to develop effective recruiting marketing campaigns and collateral
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including Service Contract Act (SCA)
- Assess labor markets and stay current with trends and best practices in talent acquisition that delivers results
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, or related field with at least 7 years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting – from preparation to onboarding (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2 years of experience leading a Talent Acquisition team
- Ability to develop and analyze metrics to drive high performance
- Extensive experience building talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs using innovative sourcing strategies that support business needs
- Track record of developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies that help drive measurable business results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-service oriented and collaborative team environment
- Experience supporting bid and proposal work
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, people management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other collaboration apps) and managing social media accounts
- Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ingenuity with the ability to effectively achieve organizational established goals and objectives
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, including OFCCP and EEO
- Experience recruiting for cleared talent on government contracts, including Service Contract Act
- Experience with Workday Recruiting software for recruiting, analytics, and reporting preferred
