Koniag Government Services is hiring an experienced Directorate of Operations to support KGS and the FBI’s Resource Planning Office. This is a contingent opportunity.

The position requirements are as follows:
Provide expert advice on proposed operational and administrative policies on topics including, but not limited to, undercover operations, extraterritorial operations, online investigations, sensitive investigative techniques, and counterintelligence.
Use knowledge of FBI operations to infuse the policy and intent of the Domestic Investigations and Operations Guide (DIOG) into underlying policies for use of specific methods or within specific divisions.
Work with the Department of Justice (DOJ) to propose updates to the Attorney General Guidelines on Extraterritorial Operations (AGG-ET) and frequently meet with DOJ and United States Intelligence Community (USIC) partners on these discussions.
Draft policy on a wide range of topics pertaining to the DIOG, including, but not limited to, undercover operations, extraterritorial operations, online investigations, sensitive investigative techniques, and counterintelligence.

Requirements
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Requires a B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A law degree is preferred, but not required.
- Possess a minimum of 20 years in DOJ and United States Intelligence Communities (USIC) management and legislative oversight.
- Possess knowledge of the Attorney General guidelines (AGG).
- Have experience working effectively with DOJ and USIC agencies in relation to information sharing.
- Be capable of working independently and providing detailed analysis and recommendations to FBI personnel at the senior executive level.
- Be familiar with the intelligence policies and procedures within the FBI, DOJ, and ODNI.
- Have experience participating in working groups and providing input on policy-related matters.
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
