Kitchen Staff/Server

Kaffmandu Coffee House of Beverly is hiring for a Kitchen/Staff Server. We are a Fair-Trade/Organic coffee shop in Beverly that recently expanded from Danvers of 9 years. Beverly is our newest location which has been open for 6 months and is doing great! As a family business, we are looking for individuals with bold personalities, a drive for coffee, and an aspiration to learn and grow as part of a team.

Position available is for approxiamately 25-30 hours per week, 3-5 days. Ideal candidate should preferably have availability during weekday/weekend mornings/early afternoons. Hours of the store as of September will be 7am-3pm- Shifts will vary between these hours.

Job Responsibility-

Candidates will be fully trained in the kitchen and will learn how to expedite sandwiches/bagel toasting in order to get food items out to customers quickly and efficiently. Candidates for the kitchen will aslo be solely responsible for ensuring everything necessary for the day is prepped and ready such as the following:

• PREP- Prepping cream cheeses for bagels and lunch wraps. Ensuring that your deli bar is fully prepped such as dicing of vegetables- tomato, cucumbers, onion, lettuce, avocado. Ensuring that deli meats are stocked, and other meats are prepped and ready to be assembled, in addition to prepping necessary items for lunch panini's and sandwiches.
• ASSEMBLING- responsible for toasting bagels and breads, making breakfast and lunch sandwiches according to our recipes, assisting with online orders, door dash and grubhub orders.
• STOCKING- make sure condiments are fully stocked, notify when items are getting low, and at end of day assist in replenishing kitchen of all neccessary food/items needed for next morning. If slow, can help assist with replenishing pastries and danishes, stocking condiment bar and sweeping rugs mid day.
• CROSS TRAIN- Potential to cross train in front and help with cashiering and/or espresso bar if interested.

We offer competitive pay starting at $16/hr , cash and credit card tips per shift-(100% to staff), Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance, 401K matching, 10% employee discount and free food and drink during shifts.
