Location: Boston, MA Remote, some travel needed.
Duration: 12 months extendable
Job Description:
Responsibilities for agile scrum master: GxP and Data lake exp mandatory and clinical / pharma exp
Working closely with the product owner to shape the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
Ensuring the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use.
Establishing an environment where the team can be effective.
Ensuring a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team.
Organize, facilitate and provide direction during project planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, sprint/release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings.
Work with management, business, marketing, and technology leaders to create a cohesive project vision and team charter.
Leads and facilitates critical team level agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives, daily stand-ups.
Facilitating the management and burn down of the Program Backlog (managing a list of non-feature architectural, technical debt, and process items).
Assist team with making appropriate commitments through Epic selection, Story assignments and Task definition.
Keep agile tracking systems up to date to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs, resource allocation and capacity planning.
Leading and coaching a team in growing its Agile maturity.
Track and communicate team velocity, iteration/release progress, impediments.
Driving Agile Transformation at local, regional, and global levels.
Manage projects using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA).
Communicate project summary, status, financials, Agile KPIs, to appropriate high-level executives.
Qualifications for agile scrum master
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or Project Management.
CSM (Certified SM)
Must be "self-motivated" creative and efficient in proposing process improvements.
At least 15 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and 8-10 experience as Scrum Master
Experience of working on Data related projects and/or clinical business domain.
Understanding of broader Agile models and Lean models.
Proficient with MS Office tools including Project, PPT.
Must be a hands-on and independent, overseeing the entire project deliverables and resources.
Experience managing large, dynamic teams in a fast-paced environment
