Data Science Intern

As a Data Science Intern at Kajabi you will get an opportunity to apply machine learning algorithms to understand and predict customer behavior.

The 12 week internship is aimed at getting you hands on experience working with a data team. You will be applying your knowledge to understand why our customers behave the way they do using real world data and presenting your findings to a group of executives and product managers.   

The role will report to our Director of Analytics.

The Impact you will make

• Implement machine learning algorithms to predict a time based outcome.
• Work with BI developers to build out a data pipeline to run the model across our customer base.
• Collaborate with other Analysts and Data Scientists on other models currently in production.

Must Haves

• Bachelor or Advanced Degree in-process in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Programming experience in R/Java and/or Python.
• Experience with statistical data analysis, such as linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling methods

Bonus if you have

• Prior internships or experience in statistics, data mining and predictive modeling
• Moderate experience with SQL (ability to write advanced queries using CTEs, window functions, & UDFs).
• An understanding of SaaS business models
