Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI!

Job Description:
The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for coordinating pick up of donations with organizations and volunteer drivers.

Maintain orderly, safe storage of food and non-food items in the kitchen warehouse.

Oversee volunteers in the warehouse.

Weigh and record all food donations using Thrift Tracker and record data for South Michigan Food Bank.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Preferred 2 years warehouse experience
  • Serv-Safe certified
  • Driver's License
  • Possess and promote a drug, nicotine free lifestyle
  • Lifting frequently up to 50lbs

Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries is a privately funded 501(c)3 non-profit, evangelical Christian ministry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Experience level:

  • 2 years

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
