Pharmacy Tech Trainee

Kalamazoo Long Term Care Pharmacy in Kalamazoo MI is looking to hire a 4 full or part time Pharmacy Tech Trainee to fill prescriptions in bulk.

This position earns a competitive wage of $13 - $15 per hour , depending on experience. We provide excellent benefits , including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), referral bonuses, bi-annual profit-sharing bonuses, and a 401(k) plan with percentage matching.

Additionally, we enroll our Pharmacy Technician Trainees in a pharmacy technician training program, and we will pay the test fees for licensing .

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PHARMACY TECH TRAINEE

As a Pharmacy Tech Trainee, you are responsible for filling medications into different types of packaging. You may be filling compliance packages similar to the days of the week pill organizers or in single dose packs.

Come to work with your music, comfy clothes and get to work . After some initial training there are many options for you to expand your pharmacy knowledge.

There are several departments to learn the ins and outs from the Compounding Lab, Dispensing robots, Quality control and Order Entry.

You find great satisfaction in assisting people in their medication needs while learning a new skill!

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time second shift position allows you to choose your schedule either 4 shifts from 12 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm or 5 shifts from 1 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm.

The pharmacy is open seven days a week so you can pick your regular workdays !
