Overview
Kalani Consulting, Inc (KCI) is seeking a highly motivated individual who is willing to join a diverse and dynamic small business that promotes growth opportunity within, as the company continues to grow and becomes more successful. KCI has an opening for a Jr. Contracts Administrator (via telecommuting) who will work closely with and report to the Sr. Contracts Manager, while also working with the KCI team across all the functional departments to provide a variety of contractual administrative support and value. As an important member of an energetic team of professionals, this position is tasked with supporting KCI’s Federal and Commercial Programs for KCI’s Prime Contracts as well as KCI’s Subcontracts, which include supporting KCI’s lower-tier Subcontractors and Consultants that fall under the Prime and/or Subcontracts.
Responsibilities/General Functions
Processes, prepares, and flows down all Subcontract and Consultant Modifications (administrative and funding changes) in support of Prime Contract Performance
Administers standard and nonstandard contracts, task orders, and subsequent amendments
Prepares and disseminates information throughout the organization regarding contract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination accordingly
Updates and maintains contractual records, logs, and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, and other documents for all projects housed in KCI’s SharePoint database
Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships with co-workers, and customers (both internal and external)
Follow policies and procedures as described in corporate manuals and directives
Support maintenance and upload requirements of various Government systems such as GSA ASSIST, NITAAC’s e-GOS portal, and other Government systems as required
Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime
Carry out other duties as may be assigned or requested
Support Sr. Contracts Manager in responding to various inquiries and preparing ad hoc and other reporting as needed
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and organize various activities and duties to meet deadlines
Attention to detail, strong in the use of Microsoft Excel is a plus
Intuitive filing trees (all in SharePoint)
Proficient in the use and application of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and telework effectively
Qualifications
Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 3 years of professional experience reviewing and familiarity with federal government contracts. Experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
U.S. Citizenship Required
Strongly Desired
Reviews and prepares risk assessment analysis for Non-Disclosure, Teaming, Consultant and other related Agreements
A general understanding and knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) when reviewing government contracts.

various contract types to include Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), and Cost-Reimbursable (CR)
