Job Title: CASS ADHOC Analyst
Department: Quality Control
Reports To: CASS Manager
SUMMARY:
Responsible to the CASS Manager for performing operational data analysis, which continually analyzes and surveys the effectiveness of the 10 elements of the Maintenance Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for compliance with CASS Department processes. Must identify any changes that will further the continuous improvement of departmental processes, and will submit recommended policy and procedure changes to the CASS Manager for approval.
2. The CASS ADHOC Analyst will collect, categorize, analyze and maintain the data files for the following Programs: Manual Revision Audit Data, ETQ-MPRR Data, R-O2 Error Data, ETQ-Event Log Data, AMOS ATA Coding Errors to monitor the effectiveness of the 10 elements of the Maintenance Program. (Ref Section 9.6)
3. Conduct data input into the Alert Matrices for the following programs: Manual Revision Audit Data, ETQ-MPRR Data, R-O2 Error Data, ETQ-Event Log Data, AMOS ATA Coding Errors.
4. Perform Preliminary Root Cause Analysis & Final Root Cause Analysis of “Alert-based & Special Project” alerts, from item 2 above, which exceed their CASS Performance Standards each month (Ref: Chapter 9.3.), or identified by the CASS Manager during the monthly CASS alert and analysis processes.
5. Retrieve from the AMOS database, the data files to upload into the Boeing ISDP database on the Boeing website. Interface with the Boeing ISDP representative and AMOS Administrator to resolve any discrepancies noted with the AMOS data files. Attend and setup webinar meetings as needed.
6. Present findings from items 2, 3, and 4 above to; the CASS Data Coordinator and CASS Senior Systems Analyst for inclusion in the monthly CASS Maintenance Report and CASS/RSG briefing slides and briefs the negative findings (Ref Section 9.10) to the RSG for necessary correction.
7. Lead Final Root Cause Analysis investigations; develop Corrective Action; and Follow-Up Plans for presentation to the RSG, for Alerts, which are selected by the RSG for an in-depth analysis and consult with Technical Experts to gather information as needed.
8. Be familiar with all phases of the operational data collection and reporting for which he/she has responsibility and identify to the CASS Manager any continuous process improvements.
9. Maintain a professional quality-oriented culture in the department, and with the departments, which he/she interfaces.
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Control or CASS Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Minimum - two-year college degree in Safety, Engineering or related field
- Experience and knowledge with database management preferred
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills of computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point software required
- Advanced word processing, technical writing and process development knowledge, skills, & abilities required and understand process development
- Possess knowledge and understanding of statistics, able to research and use analytical skills
- Attention to detail, communication and presentation skills to work with all levels across the company
- Experience and understanding of regulatory compliance of regulations, manuals, policies and procedures
- Strong ability in written/oral communications, and interpersonal skills
- Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects
- Intermediate computer typing and organizational skills are required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write detailed analysis reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Intermediate ability to conduct basic mathematics; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Intermediate ability to convert between different units of measure. Intermediate to advanced aptitude to perform statistical formulas and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
