The Business Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting business systems such as the Sage X3 ERP system and the Korber Warehouse Advantage Warehouse Management System (WMS). This includes addressing team member business system “how to” questions, analyzing and resolving business system errors, and supporting new business system implementations and improvement projects. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide customer focused business system support, answering questions about and/or assisting with advanced transactions. Understand business processes and technical functionality to provide optimal support.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and data issues identified by team members or system errors and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Ensure data integrity by monitoring integration points and resolving issues. Understand the overall Kalmbach Feeds application architectures.
- Support data exchanges with internal and external customers (EDI, Imports, Exports, APIs, etc.). Resolve operational issues and test new trading partners.
- Assist with modification testing and new site implementations.
- Assist with business system training and educate users across departments on the workflow and process requirements.
- Maintain team member access and onboard new users.
- Report business system support metrics and recommend potential changes for continuous improvement.
- Assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data across business systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal customers with the goal of providing superior customer service to system users
The Right Candidate:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline and (or) equivalent relevant experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience managing business processes using an ERP or WMS application with a detailed understanding of the application and data OR 3-5 years’ experience supporting an ERP or WMS application.
- Understanding of common business processes, including customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping, receiving, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Proven analytical skills. Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Flexible. Able to shift and adjust to changing business priorities and needs.
- Effective communicator. Able to communicate with technical and non-technical team members to collaborate on issue identification and resolution.
- Experience with Sage X3, Highjump, or Korber Warehouse Advantage preferred.
