Onsite IT Specialist

Description

Kalos Services is now hiring for the Onsite IT Specialist. This role requires a background in technical support and help desk procedures with knowledge of procuring, maintaining and administering equipment and office technology.  You must be comfortable assisting with any technology issues throughout the company and feel confident in finding and implementing improvements for daily operations.  The ideal candidate for this role is someone eager to learn and take on additional responsibilities related to premise security and accountability.  

Schedule:  This role will be located full-time in our main offices in Clermont, Florida. This is mainly a day shift position with some after hours availability for special events as needed 

Responsibilities:

• Procuring, maintaining, and administering computers and office technology.
• Deploying and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Providing IT support and resolving problems for Kalos employee devices.
• Assisting with technology onboarding of new hires.
• Suggesting and implementing improvements in procedures and equipment.
• Maintaining knowledge of IT support, help desk procedures, products, and services.
• Documenting and record keeping of Kalos devices both new and old.
• Occasionally assisting with A/V setup and recording at Kalos, both in office and job sites.

Requirements

• Relevant degree, certifications, or job experience in IT administration or relatable field.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills. The ability to take computer equipment apart and service it is a plus.
• Attention to detail and excellent work integrity.
• Capable of deploying and maintaining Windows and Linux based implementations for infrastructure and end-user use
• The ability to write small scripts in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or any other language is a plus.
• Knowledge of A/V equipment is also a plus.
• Competency in and experience with administering mid-sized IT networks spanning multiple buildings, utilizing 802.1X, Active Directory, and SMB
