Job Description
Required:
- 5 years of Data Architecture/Data Warehousing experience
- Expert knowledge of Snowflake with more than three (3) years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Exposure to Data warehousing and various ingestion patterns from multiple sources.
- Good hands-on experience in Snowflake migration projects with good understanding of Snowflake architecture and building pipelines for ingestion
- Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using snowpipe, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH and ETL concepts
- Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, time travel and understand how to use these features
- Experience in Data Migration to Snowflake cloud data warehouse
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Experience or strong knowledge of communication and data handling protocols (AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP/SCP/OFTP, POP3/SMTP, Web Services/SOAP/REST, WebDAV, etc.)
- Experience or strong knowledge of industry data standards (ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, RosettaNet, SWIFT, TRADCOMS, etc.)
- Experience with .Net/Java based frameworks and solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with enterprise database technologies like Oracle RAC, DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, firewalls and security standards.
- Experience working in financial services industry preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor 's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or related field.
