What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Kamis?

We are looking for someone with legal, consulting or professional services experience.

We are looking for people with excellent attention to detail who can handle data entry, engagement letters, creating new matters in our billing system, and a variety of administrative tasks._ Calendaring and travel arrangements is also part of the role, but only a small part of the role._ Many applicants have strong calendaring, travel arrangements and gate keeping – this is not necessarily aligned to our role. The candidates need to be able to work in a team environment where they cover for each other, and they should know they will report to an administrative manager and not their executive they are supporting. It would be great to see resumes of candidates who have had titles in the past like legal secretary, paralegal, administrative assistant and executive assistant.

Executive Assistant

  • On-site, 5 days/week in NY office
  • Support 1 officer, and light support to 4-8 Principals and Sr. Managers
  • Pay range: $80-90k base range, 5% bonus, excellent benefits.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (ON SITE, NEW YORK)

The Executive Assistant will have primary responsibility for providing administrative support to 4-8 local executives to optimize efficiency, while independently managing administrative tasks and coordinating special projects. The Executive Assistant will handle confidential firm information which requires a high level of discretion while simultaneously anticipating administrative needs, managing workload, and producing work of the highest quality in a timely manner. We are looking for an innovative problem-solver with a great eye for detail and an even greater sense of ownership. The ability to juggle multiple tasks, requests, and priorities while also coordinating and collaborating with team members is essential to success in the role. How You’ll Help Our Team Succeed

  • Assist with monthly billing duties for executives including proofreading and editing billing narratives for client invoices and tracking accounts receivables.
  • Assist with conflict checks, generate engagement letters, and create correspondence files.
  • Create, organize and maintain administrative structure for each project (LAN and hard files, document storage, project set up and closure.
  • Compose and process routing correspondence. Proofread all written materials.
  • Manage executives’ calendars, travel arrangements, and process expense reports.
  • Assist with the coordination of promotional materials for business development.
  • Coordinate internal or client meetings and special events.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

  • 3 years of directly related experience; professional services experience preferred.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Associate’s Degree or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
