Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage and optimize the use of the systems for financial reporting and analysis.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting.
• Coordinate and oversee annual financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and financial performance.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• QuickBooks Online experience is REQUIRED.
• Software Industry experience is REQUIRED.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (ASC 606) and financial reporting is REQUIRED.
• Proven track record of managing financial operations in a dynamic and growing company.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
