Small property insurance company located in Geneva is looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and detailed-oriented professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. There is a possibility this can develop into a full-time position. Property insurance experience is helpful but willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing new business policies, policy changes, mailings, etc.
- Update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
- Maintain trusting relationships with policyholders and agents
- Assist manager as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in another relevant administrative role
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
