We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Product Owner with expertise in Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies to join our team. As the IT Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions. Your leadership and technical skills will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering valuable products that meet client needs.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the vision and goals of the IT product to align with business objectives and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize product features and create a product backlog, considering business value and customer impact.
- Work closely with the Agile development team to plan and execute product releases in sprints or iterations.
- Provide clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Act as the voice of the customer, making informed decisions to deliver the highest value to end-users.
- Ensure continuous feedback from stakeholders and end-users, making necessary adjustments to the product backlog.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to align product strategies with business goals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience in Retail and Enterprise loyalty platform
10 Years of Proven experience as an IT Product Owner in an Agile or SAFe Agile environment. - In-depth knowledge of Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean-Agile principles.
- An excellent Product Owner with the ability to oversee and guide other Product Owners.
- Proficient in handling end-to-end planning and coordination.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of SAFe Agile portfolio practices.
- Strong understanding of the product development life cycle and product management processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or VersionOne.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex product challenges.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification is desirable but not mandatory.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
