Summary/Primary Purpose: This position is responsible for planning of the monthly activity schedule for Adult Day Care participants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for creating and scheduling the monthly adult day care activity calendar.
- Leads activities including recreation, snacks, crafts, etc.
- Responsible to ensure supplies are available for use in planned activities
- Assist participants with daily life functions such as eating, utilizing bathroom facilities, and putting on coats
- Builds positive relationships with participants.
- Consistently promotes morale, productivity, and good communication
- Ensures compliance with The Salvation Army’s Safe from Harm guidelines and policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma (Combination of education and experience will be considered). Previous experience working with activities and/or groups would be beneficial.
