What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Manager position at Kapili Services, LLC?
The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Contract Manager to support our Department of Defense (DoD) customer located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Some CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the performance of the work and all contract matters relating to daily operation under this contract.
- Staffing, Retention, and Personnel Management.
REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor's Degree. Ten (10) years Army Special Forces experience may substitute for an academic degree.
- P roject Management Professional Certification or four (4) years of project management experience may substitute for professional certification.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working with senior military officers.
- Experience commensurate to that of a senior Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) of the pay grade of E8.
- Four (4) years' experience of senior supervision, management and operation of Mission Command Training Center/Complex, with emphasis on Special Operation Forces (SOF).
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Eight (8) years' experience at Special Forces Group or higher Army or Joint Special Operations organizations.
- Experience with Special Warfare Center & School (SWCS) Training Management System.
REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Must hold Active Secret Clearance
