Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of monthly financial statements and all supporting documentation
- Daily and weekly accounting entries / Month-end closing entries
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Credit Card and Bank Reconciliations
- Accounts Payable
- Maintain office file management – both physical and cloud-based
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks supporting the Senior Accountants
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, strong attention to detail, and strong organization, and written and verbal communication
- Assist with other related duties and special ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Organizational & time management skills
- Exercises discretion and confidentiality with any sensitive personal information
- Diligent follow up skills
- Capability of working independently as well as part of a team environment
- Prioritizes conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressure
- Experience working with Sage Accounting System is a bonus
Requirements:
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Proficient computer / IT knowledge is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; ability to create and/or edit Excel spreadsheets is a must
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
