Duties and responsibilities:
- Adherence to all Core Values in daily work interactions and relationships.
- Manage warehouse team, maintain proper staffing levels, and approve time cards.
- Maintain an accurate inventory count of all serialized units and parts.
- Manage the physical movement of units in, out, and internally; as well as the corresponding paperwork and computer transactions.
- Manage the parts pull/pack/ship operation.
- Manage the receiving and stocking of incoming serialized units and parts.
- Support the deliveries and pick-ups of units between our docks and customer locations.
- Accountable to the Distribution Manager for the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Execute scheduled parts and units cycle counts.
- Offers suggestions to Kappus Management on how to improve processes and procedures.
- Must maintain an active OSHA Safety certification annually.
- Ensures that all safety procedures are followed in accordance with OSHA regulations and Kappus policy.
- Accountable to the Distribution Manager for the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse
- Order supplies as needed.
- Work with dispatch and project managers, when needed, to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups between our docks and customer locations.
- Maintain timely and accurate paperwork on all activities
- Manage the physical movement and scrap of units, as well as the corresponding paperwork and computer transactions.
- Offers suggestions to Kappus Management on how to improve processes and procedures.
- Responsible for maintenance of warehouse.
- Ensures that all safety procedures are followed in accordance with OSHA regulations and Kappus policy.
- Ensures that the warehouse is organized and the aisles kept free.
- Other duties, as necessary.

- Leadership ability and strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
- Must possess impeccable communication skills and the highest level of professionalism in every interaction with customers.
- Ability to effectively manage, develop and lead warehouse employees.
- Must possess strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Kappus software.
- Sensitive to deadlines and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- College preferred
- 7 years working in a warehouse environment preferred
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license. Ability to safely operate a company vehicle as evidenced by past driving performance record. Must adhere to all company safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently, under pressure, and without close supervision; willing and able to consistently work the schedule required by the job demands.
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, as required, as well as on-call nights and weekends when assigned.
- Ability to tolerate environmental conditions consisting of extreme heat, cold, noise, vibration, fumes, dust and poor ventilation.
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force (pulling, pushing, lifting, carrying, etc.) regularly and up to 50 pounds of force frequently.
- Ability to climb and work from 6’ ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, twist, grasp to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push components and/or equipment to test, setup, or maintain equipment.
Salary : $43,900 - $55,600
