Who is Kaptyn?

Since 2016 we've been on a mission to make transportation more efficient, enjoyable and accessible. We started by creating an innovative software suite to help transportation companies manage their operations. It was a good start, but we knew that we could have a bigger impact. So, in 2019 we decided to purchase two of the best fleet operations in America and combine them into a force for change. In 2020 we will unveil the future of transportation and are looking for passionate team members to join us to advance our mission. Our commitment to creating a better experience in a better way is fueled by a belief that the transportation industry needs to focus less on eliminating drivers and more on empowering them. We are also dedicated to making every ride as sustainable and enjoyable as possible, while being a model for other companies to emulate.

What are We Looking For?

The CSO leads and is accountable for defining and delivering the Company’s strategy, leading its sales process and providing operational and management support to the CEO and organization. The CSO also builds strong and productive relationships with all business unit leaders and developments/maintains relationship with current and future strategic partners. The CSO provides strategic leadership and motivation to transform the markets in which the Company operate by identifying and creating future trends.

What we need you to do:

• Represent the core values of the Company through leadership exhibiting these values.
• Develop inclusive strategic plan and strategy through strategic planning process that includes
• collaborating with leadership team and board of directors.
• Forge synergies across the organization.
• Implement and manage key strategic initiatives.
• Monitor whether strategic initiatives are in line with the Company’s mission, core values and
• Collaborate with CFO to develop capital plan in line with strategy.
• Direct marketing strategies and oversee advertising and promotional activities through
• management of CMO.
• Direct sales initiatives and oversee corporate sales activities through management of VP of
• Define, implement, measure and evolve the Company’s exceptional customer experience.
• Analyze market dynamics, market share changes, product line performance and competitive
• Identify key capital projects, joint ventures, potential M&A targets and other strategic partnership
• Assess and recommends further market expansions for analytics and advisement.
• Identify strategic risks.
• Collaborate with leadership, special committees and consultants to execute strategies.
• Work with CEO in communicating strategy effectively throughout company.
• Ensuring suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress.
• Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the departments operating budget.
• Execute any corporate divestitures.

Physical Requirements:

• This role will sit for extended periods of time.
• Must have ability to use hands and fingers for use of computer and office equipment.
• Must have the ability to communicate verbally with other team members and clients.
