Kaptyn, the leader in electric, luxury vehicle car service, is seeking Professional Drivers to lead our inaugural California fleet, providing our clients with safe, dependable and comfortable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Operate vehicle fleet including traditional limousines and luxury electric models.
- Use our leading technology that maximizes trip opportunities to pick up guests on-demand or at prearranged locations.
- Proactively assist guests with luggage.
- Engage in thoughtful, professional conversation with guests.
- Ensure guests reach their destinations safely, on time and seamlessly.
- Follow safety regulations and state laws regarding vehicle operations and ensure guests also follow applicable safety regulations.
- Regularly communicate with Dispatch and Maintenance teams.
- Submit written Incident Reports.
- Demonstrate safe driving practices and reliability.
- Respect and maintain confidentiality of company, client and team member information.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum age of 25
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California state driver’s license
- A Motor Vehicle Report which demonstrates a clean driving record
- Previous ride share experience with minimum of 6,000 rides and 4.9 star driver rating preferred.
- Customer service and/or hospitality experience required
- Successful completion of a Department of Transportation physical and drug test
- Meet and maintain all required Kaptyn, state and regulatory laws regarding a criminal background check
