Job Description:

Kapur is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Transportation CAD Technician to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of transportation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microstation and OpenRoads Designer Software to create, modify, and maintain engineering drawings and models for transportation projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to support the development of design plans and construction documents.
• Ensure that all CAD work complies with InDot Standards and other relevant industry guidelines.
• Maintain organized and accurate project files, ensuring version control and document management.
• Assist in quantity takeoffs, cost estimation, and project documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and procedures within the company.
• Stay up to date with the latest CAD software updates and technologies to enhance productivity.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Aided Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer Software.
• Knowledge of InDot Standards and experience working on transportation projects in Indiana is a plus.
• Experience with Civil 3D is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project teams and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
