Daycare Attendant Full/Part time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a love for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Part-time hours (up to 32/week) are available

Pay is flexible and based on experience

Staff are paid every Friday for the previous Sunday through Saturday. We pay 100% of tips back to the staff weekly on top of the hourly rate.

Staff also get Free Daycare and Boarding for their dog or cat. (Dogs must pass temp evaluation and be current on all required vaccinations)

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor dogs in the daycare facility to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including interactive games and exercise
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces
- Monitor dog behavior and intervene when necessary to prevent any conflicts or aggressive behavior
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and any special instructions from pet owners

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Animal handling experience, preferably in a professional setting such as a veterinary clinic or animal shelter
- Knowledge of animal care practices and procedures or desire to learn
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with pet owners
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with coworkers
- Knowledge of basic grooming techniques is a plus
- Experience as a kennel attendant, pet groomer, or veterinary technician is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
