POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a new legal team member for the role of Legal Assistant – Privacy & Technology. This key contributing role involves working directly with our legal team and others outside this team. The selected individual must be mindful, organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Help us deliver highly effective legal solutions consistent with our culture and mission.
- Support our legal team primarily in the areas of privacy & technology.
- Manage and be our internal resource for our legal operations, privacy, and board governance platforms.
- Participate as a key member of our privacy team, responding to privacy-related requests (externally and internally), coordinating our security awareness training program and other trainings, and managing communications.
- Identify operational solutions to increase overall efficiency, including the development and implementation of playbooks, practices, and procedures for our growing team.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree and privacy certifications a plus.
- Superb problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience or an aptitude to work with the following “legal tech” platforms: One Trust, Boardvantage, Legal Tracker/HighQ, and DocuSign.
