The Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in promoting our Assisted Living and Memory Care Community and attracting new tenants to our community. Responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts, the Director of Sales develops and implements strategies to increase occupancy, build relationships with potential tenants and their families, and drive revenue growth.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Preferred, but not required Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service required; experience in senior living or healthcare industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Capability to set up marketing materials and assist with event planning activities.
  • Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing Assisted Living Facilities in the State of Michigan, particularly in relation to sales and marketing practices.
  • Understanding of relevant state and federal laws pertaining to senior living communities, including fair housing regulations.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with state regulations regarding documentation, advertising, and tenant rights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective tenants and their families.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to overcome objections and close sales.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software for sales tracking and reporting purposes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve occupancy goals and revenue targets. Identify target markets and develop marketing campaigns to reach prospective residents and their families. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and tenant demographics to inform sales strategies.
  • Lead Generation and Conversion: Generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, events, and online marketing. Conduct tours of the facility for prospective tenants and their families, highlighting features and amenities. Follow up with leads, provide information, address concerns, and guide them through the decision-making process.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate relationships with referral sources, such as healthcare professionals, social workers, and community organizations. Build rapport with prospective tenants and their families, providing personalized assistance and support. Collaborate with the care team to ensure a seamless transition for new tenants and their families.
  • Sales Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, tours, and conversions. Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track progress towards goals and identify areas for improvement. Utilize CRM software to manage leads, track communications, and streamline sales processes.

Job Type: Full-time
 
Pay: From $50,000 per year up to $60,000 per year based on experience
