Kaycha Group, LLC is a leading provider of innovative Cannabis and Hemp testing technologies and methods. The company performs testing to help ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. We provide comprehensive testing for potency, homogeneity, heavy metals, microbial contamination, mycotoxins, residual solvents, terpenes, and pesticides.

Job Purpose:

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for executing upon a sales plan that meets or exceeds assigned quotas (meetings, calls, and revenues), and keeping current on his/her own CRM/personal log recordkeeping. This position must demonstrate success in the acquisition, retention, and sales growth of their assigned accounts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

External

  • Meet or exceed quotas (meetings, calls, and revenues).
  • Develop effective sales strategies to attract and retain high volume customers.
  • Responsible for account acquisition, planning, retention and growth of assigned accounts. This includes, but is not limited to client onboarding (i.e. Terms of Service, LIMS Registrations, Pricing negotiations, Turnaround Time Requests), consistent client servicing via in person meetings, follow-up phone calls, and electronic correspondence (email and text)..
  • Utilize consultative selling approach to gain an understanding of customer needs and objectives.
  • Provide superior customer service and maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Efficiently and effectively respond to all customer questions, needs and expectations.

Internal

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Kaycha’s lab testing products/processes, PureLIMS (“Proprietary Laboratory Information Management System), and ZoHo CRM application.
  • Record all client activities/interactions in CRM and/or other mandated reporting tools.
  • Provide timely feedback whenever warranted to address a client's concerns to ensure that customer’s needs and expectations are being met.
  • Work collaboratively with all fellow Sales Team members to facilitate best-in-class client service and company-wide sales growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other Kaycha departments with the end goal of increased sales, high customer satisfaction, improved profitability, and overall growth.
  • Attend regularly scheduled sales meetings.
  • Present Quarterly Sales Plan to manager.
  • Other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • 2 years of previous sales experience desired.
  • Exhibits high energy and passion; driven to succeed.
  • Excellent communication, listening, questioning, discovery, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Team orientation.
  • Exposure to the cannabis industry - desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with follow-through skills.

Other:

  • Must pass Level 2 background check.

Staff can be expected to work in areas where hazards associated are with, but not limited to, airborne pathogens. Biological materials, hazardous substances, and radioactive material exist and are handled. Appropriate training is provided regarding these hazards and staff are expected to adhere to all health and safety policies at all times, whether they are in writing or verbalized by a supervisor.

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
