What are the responsibilities and job description for the HiTec Operator - 1st shift position at Kayem Foods?
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Attach (Hi-Tec) machine to the meat pump
- Review production schedule to determine proper set-up
- Inspect equipment, check all parts for any damage, or leakage
- Assemble equipment according to product run, including performing lock/tagout as required
- Conduct first piece inspection to ensure conformance to product specifications, checking the diameter, length, weight, twist, causing breakage, and evidence for air pockets
- Conduct operational audits every 15 minutes throughout production to ensure proper product specifications
- Check for accuracy of scales
- Hang product according to pattern specifications and proper procedures
- Responsible for removing, cleaning, and safety storing meter gears
- Assist new employees and trainees in learning proper methods and procedures
- Complete other duties assigned
Salary : $34,200 - $43,300
