In this dual role, you'll play a pivotal part in commercial construction projects, from accurately assessing project costs to managing budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Estimate Preparation: Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for commercial construction projects using historical data, blueprints, and specifications.
· Cost Analysis: Analyze project requirements, materials, labor costs, and other factors to determine project budgets and ensure competitiveness in the market.
· Bid Management: Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tenders in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
· Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for project management, collaborating with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
· Budget Management: Develop and monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify variances for timely corrective actions.
· Schedule Management: Create project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress for timely completion.
· Risk Assessment: Evaluate project risks, providing recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
· Client Relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
· Experience: 5 years in estimating for commercial construction projects preferred.
· Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction estimating software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and MS Office Suite.
· Construction Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and processes.
· Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
· Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
· Project Management: Proven track record of managing projects $5M .
· Regulations: Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
