KBA is seeking an Operations Support Specialist who will be working cross functionally across IT and Operations support functions, troubleshooting, and resolving employee requests to ensure the smooth operation of systems and processes and providing administrative support. The core duties and responsibilities will revolve around supporting others and require the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed.
What you will be doing:
Operations Support - Facilities and Fleet Program Support
- Maintain records for business activities and inventory management
- Assist KBA’s Fleet program including tracking utilization, maintenance, warranties, leasing, and assignment
- Assist with fleet coordination – input and maintain maintenance records, data entry, vehicle deployment
- Assist in Bellevue and field office(s) setup (i.e. mobilization and demobilization)
- Implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Respond to staff and vendor inquiries and requests in a timely manner
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Coordinate and manage ordering of Bellevue and Project office(s) project supplies, safety equipment, scheduling of office equipment maintenance, and repairs
- Ensure timely renewals of vendor contract renewals (Internet, copiers, phones, water services, etc.)
- Support Safety Awards Program activities
IT Technical Support
- Level I user support (Help Desk)
- Monitor, triage and prioritize service requests and escalate appropriately
- Configure and provide Tier 1 support for endpoint devices (computers, tablets, phones, etc.)
- Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and repair workstation hardware and software as well as general network connectivity
- Provide feedback on problematic trends and patterns in customer support
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding of new employees
- Maintain and update employee asset assignment
- Assist with implementation and decommission of project site technologies
KBA Engagement
- Adhere to KBA’s health and safety policies and procedures
- Contribute to improvement of KBA processes and standards
- Staff Meetings and Safety Meetings
