What are the responsibilities and job description for the Image Analyst position at KBR?
KBR is seeking talented imagery analysts to contribute to the critical success of intelligence community systems. Lead the evaluation of advanced imagery products from various optical processing chains. The successful applicant will construct experiments, manage the numerical analysis, and prepare reports to various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Review/evaluate simulated images of candidate architectures, systems, or sensors for product quality
- Rate simulated images against and absolute and/or relative rating scale jointly with both image scientists and an evaluation statistician;
- Draft written summaries of evaluation methods and results
- Interact with image scientist and statistician to best interpret empirical results as well as numerical values
Requirements:
- Must possess a currently active TS/SCI Clearance, or active TS with SCI eligibility
- B.S. degree or equivalent military experience
- Experience with GEOINT Systems including EO, SAR, and IR system capabilities
- Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC) at the national level
- Familiarization with NIIRS
- Proficiency with common office software, including Microsoft PowerPoint presentations, Excel, and word processing.
- Excellent communication skills-both oral and written
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and in a team environment
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, physics or engineering
- Knowledge of national GEOINT architecture, tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED)
- Knowledge of the following systems and software programs: SOCET GXP, REMOTEVIEW, ENVI, IEC, Cedallion
- Completion of a military service or client imagery analysis training program
- 3 years' experience as an imagery analyst with some image science experience
