Position Title: Senior Subsea Engineer / Manager
Job Description
(Hybrid Work Opportunity)
The position is a leadership role where candidate will be responsible to perform subsea business development and sales acquisition, assemble SURF project teams and perform review of design and engineering work. Accordingly, candidate should be familiar with all systems comprising the subsea production system with strong knowledge of the various SURF disciplines - equipment, umbilicals, risers, flowlines, and controls. This position is primarily responsible for managing subsea business acquisition and the execution of SURF front-end engineering studies. The position will be responsible for developing a SURF team comprised of a combination of KBR internal personnel and outside consultants. This position will manage and engage in review of technical work product for compliance to KBR technical and quality management requirements and industry standards and practices.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Subsea or Ocean Engineering). Masters' degree preferred.
- Senior subsea engineer or manager with ten (10) to twenty (20 ) years of experience in subsea engineering and subsea production systems.
Candidate must have strong writing skills, presentational skills and subsea sales or business development experience.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate that he/she has knowledge of and a network of subsea clients and consultants.
